Hey! Welcome to my website. Through this blog, I will take you along on my athletic journey and give my honest opinion about the competition. As an athlete with an intellectual disability, it is not always easy... that is why I am taking you along on my journey towards my dreams!

I will briefly introduce myself. My name is EsmeeAnne de Meulmeester, and I live in Orlando. I was born on March 2, 1999. I am a triathlete. I swam for over 20 years, but on September 1, 2023, I made the decision to focus on triathlon. Additionally, I am a world record holder for the Ironman 70.3 and the full marathon in the para group.

Due to my underlying juvenile rheumatism, I had to swim in warm water, which is how I discovered my love for swimming. But when I started swimming open water, I felt so free. And how wonderful it is to combine the sports I enjoy? I have epilepsy myself and fall under the disability sports category. Triathlon is still new to me in that context because it usually involves longer distances and requires a lot of thinking. I hope that by participating in races and following my dreams, I can inspire people to pursue their passions as well!
